Since its inception in 1964, PVCK has been constantly trying to put all efforts to scientifically validate the real potential of Ayurveda in the specialty of Agada Tantra for the welfare of mankind. The unique treatment protocol developed in conjunction with Allopathic medicines with a high success rate has made this institution a reliable center for the management of snake bites in Northern Kerala. Apart from snake bites all other poisonous ailments including various insect bites mainly scorpions, centipedes etc are effectively treated here as well.
In 1973, the unit was established as a charitable institution and since its inception, this non-governmental organisation has done full justice to its principles treating snake envenomation free of cost integrating both Ayurveda and Allopathy.
